Client Testimonials

“Getting help and attending regular therapy was very difficult for me but has changed my life drastically. Angie has helped me understand how to deal with my emotions and thoughts on a day to day basis, whether it’s a good day or a bad day. I now know there are things that happen in life that I cannot control and that’s ok. More importantly, therapy has made me a happy person. There is light at the end of the tunnel.” Male Client (20’s).

“It’s difficult to find calm when every thought leads to feelings of crushing anxiety and fear of disappointing someone. The chaotic spiral into catastrophising every encounter becomes perfectly normal.

CBT truly helped me to challenge my thought process in a very simplistic way. I am now able to rationalise the damaging core beliefs that have stopped me feeling free to be me through simply being aware of what thoughts are negative and potentially damaging and using simple techniques to reframe these into positive ones… Or if it is actually something bad to reflect and move on.

CBT has given me a very simple toolkit to find less destructive ways of processing my thoughts. My protected time to focus on my worry list every evening has helped improve my approach to all aspects of my life. Yes, I still have worries and anxiety BUT I can now break them down and manage them without feeling completely overwhelmed!” Female Client (40’s).

“My daughter (8) has made huge progress in just a few sessions so far with Angie. We have been quite emotional watching her do things she would never have been confident enough to do before. She is learning how to cope with anxious thoughts and not let them hold her back in life. It also helps that she really enjoys her chats with Angie, always looking forward to her next session!” Female Client (8 yrs).

“I have struggled with anxiety and an eating disorder since my late teens however during the last couple of years my anxiety had got so much worse and it was seriously affecting my day to day life. I decided to start therapy again and I’m so happy I found Angie.

The style of therapy combining CBT in it has massively helped my overcoming deep routed problems that I had ignored for quite a while, and giving me the tools I need to manage my anxiety on a weekly basis.

I am a big advocate for therapy, I think whether life is getting on top of you or any disorder, it is very much needed nowadays. You take care of your body at the gym and in therapy with Angie. I can’t recommend and rave about Angie enough, she has helped me make already a huge improvement in my daily life.”
